Maker Montage

A realization HIT ME: that I have made much more than I ever blogged about.

Like my apron, up cycled from a giant Hawaiian shirt! And a patch from Stay Wild Magazine

Here is a montage of fun clothes I have made. I hope you enjoy checking them out!!

Rowan tee, turned dress again. I make other clothes too, but obviously this pattern is a staple. The pattern is supposed to be all knit, but I used some slinky satin-type shiny pink fun material. As a result, I had to modify the way the hood attaches so it would still stretch a little. No biggie!

Junebug dress, by  Craftiness is Not Optional and some bloomers. Pretty sure I used Dana MADEs diaper cover pattern from here. Since it’s FREE and all!!

Some fun up cycled pants I based on the Blank Slate Patterns tuxedo pants but skimmed the pattern down to NOT include fly, fancy strip, etc. I also modified the waistband to follow Rabbit Rabbit Creations style waistband.

Endless Summer Bucket shorts by Rabbit Rabbit. See the waistband! I really like it. This is a tiny size by the way… The buckets get BIGGER!

Knight Hoodie by Charming Doodle.  Rainbow style in fleece. The fleece made this a super quick project even with all the extras. This pattern comes in two versions, tween and adult, and kid size.

So, this is my family, and a beloved friend! We are at a costume party, where metal was the theme. It was so fun. All the clothes are handmade. Pink princess dress made by Grandma from a paper pattern. Little grey dress another Junebug. Boys knight suits, a modified shirt from Sewing For Boys book. My shirt, the Novelista by Blank Slate Patterns.

Ahhh! Tiny clothes! This is from Ottobre magazine. Not sure of the issue…

Some of the last diapers I made. I used Cloth Revolution by TUTU Mafia’s free pattern. Recommended HIGHLY! I made tons. Also a suggestion: make way more mediums than tiny. Kids grow SO FAST!

This guy!! He’s sporting a Blank Slate Patterns Basic Blazer. Corduroy of course.  I’ve made a TON of these.

Another Rowan tee by Titchy Threads. I know….

Watermelon swimmy suit and rash guard, eating watermelon! I love her! I drafted the raglan rash guard and the swim suit pattern is still in the works…

This pic is from Popolok Designs. I helped out testing the Cece

Whewie! You made it!

Go back to your busy lives!

And thank you so much for stopping by!
